Sikastone is a Floristry school providing a bright environment that allows plants significant growth within a semi-automatic model. A requirement of the School is the plants’ connection to both the outdoors and climate during the day with facilities accommodating a wide range of activities. Oliver Andrew Associates approached the design as a transparent and vibrant receptacle. Various scaled buildings, open spaces, pedestrian corridors, class and public courtyards were created. Ultimately the stunning design of the Sikastone Floristry School will allow various plants to grow and evolve in beautiful surroundings and allow students to enjoy in conducive to high quality learning.
