Retaining the original charm of the 1930s Victorian-era heritage was the key to the renovation project. Oliver Andrew Associates carved key connections between the inside and outside, as existing heritage elements were given new life while preserving and celebrating its storied past. To amplify the airiness and connectivity to the surroundings, a neutral colour scheme was utilised throughout the design. While reserving a highly constrained heritage site, the OAA team took a highly crafted approach by extending the pool and a multi-purpose room that embraces the courtyard, complementary to the primordial feature of the land and for the continuity of the legacy.
